Dani and Lizzy make us wonder. They also remind us that going through the loss of a loved one--naturally, tragically or an avoidable death--is a long journey of grief, sadness, anger, smiles and maybe building power within to find meaning.

I found meaning with the Feeney Legacy Project

JUST CALL 911—SAVE A LIFE

The Feeney Legacy Project began with a mission—one born out of loss, love, and an unwavering commitment to save lives.
My son, Feeney, was full of life. He was kind, passionate, and dreaming of the future. But one choice, one hesitation, changed everything. His friend did not call 911. And now, Feeney is gone.
No parent should live with this heartbreak. No family should endure the silence that follows an avoidable tragedy. And no friend should ever freeze in a moment when a simple call could save a life.

This is why The Feeney Legacy Project exists—to make sure Atlanta knows: the choice is yours.

Call 911. Act. Save a life.

Right now, we are working to spread this message across the city—through billboards, conversations, events and action. Because one message, seen by the right person, at the right time, could be the difference between life and death. FLP cannot do this alone. We need a team. We need voices.

We need people willing to stand up and say,

“This won’t happen again.”

  • Share this message—make sure everyone knows how critical this choice is.

  • Help us raise funds—each dollar gets us closer to putting up billboards and changing lives.

  • Connect us to people who can help—businesses, schools, faith communities, media outlets. If you have a connection, it matters. Because the next life saved may be the one closest to you.

This isn’t just Feeney’s story—it’s Everyone's story. It’s a story of responsibility, of courage, of doing the right thing when it matters most.

So, let’s promise today: No more hesitation. No more second-guessing. No more waiting. Just call 911.

Together, we can save lives. Together, we can honor Feeney’s legacy.
