Feeney Needed a Lifesaver

On April 13, 2022, Feeney went into cardiac arrest. The friend with him did not call 911, and Feeney lost his life.

At her son’s bedside, Kathy, made a promise: Feeney’s story would inspire others to act quickly in an emergency so that no life is lost because 911 wasn’t called.

That promise became the Feeney Legacy Project (FLP).

Although Feeney’s life was tragically cut short, his legacy lives on through organ donation. As a donor, he gave more than 150 second chances through lifesaving and healing gifts.

Today, Kathy and the FLP Herd honor Feeney’s legacy by teaching communities to recognize emergencies, call 911 immediately, learn CPR, support organ donation, and take action that can save lives.

Everyone has the power to be a lifesaver. Together, we can create a future where people know what to do, act without hesitation, and help save lives in Feeney’s honor.

Make the Promise:
I will NOT Be a
BYSTANDER.

I WILL be a
LIFESAVER!
